Beatrice Panero – Rehearsal Director, Choreographic Assistent and Trainer, Tanz Gie?en - Stadttheater Gie?en

Since the 2024/2025 season, I have been working as Rehearsal Director and Trainer at Tanz Gie?en, Stadttheater Gie?en. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Dance at Codarts Rotterdam Dance Academy, I spent fourteen years as a professional dancer in repertory theatres across Germany and Switzerland, including Hauptmann-Theater G?rlitz, Theater Hagen, Theater Osnabrück, and Bühne Bern. 

In recent years, my focus has increasingly shifted toward teaching. I have been working as a Dance Educator at the Theaterp?dagogisches Zentrum Lingen and as a guest trainer for professional companies and institutions such as Ballett Hagen, Dance Ensemble Landesbühne Radebeul, IAB Institute of Arts Barcelona, and Tanzhaus Zürich. 

Alongside my teaching practice, I have continued to create my own choreographic works since 2014, which have been presented internationally and recognized with several awards — including 3rd Prize for Best Choreography at the Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival Stuttgart, the Best Duo Award at the Barnes Crossing Choreographic Competition in Cologne, and an International Choreographer Residency at the American Dance Festival in the USA. 

My decision to return to academic studies came from a deep desire to explore the conceptual layers of contemporary dance — and to discover new ways to support the next generation of dancers with authenticity and awareness. 

The Master Dance Teacher programme at the Palucca University of Dance provided me with valuable tools: new pedagogical methods, a deeper theoretical understanding, and fresh perspectives on my own artistic development. It helped me refine my teaching, strengthen my communication, and grow as both an educator and artist.

I wholeheartedly recommend this program to dancers, teachers, and choreographers who wish to keep evolving — learning to truly see, listen to, and support the artists they guide throughout their creative journeys.
