Time Tracking & Entry Management - SECANDA
Target Group: Students and Staff
The Palucca University uses an integrated system for time tracking, entry management, and HR workflows. This system consists of transponders, time-tracking terminals, electronic doors, and a digital workflow portal.
Transponders
Transponders are issued by the Department of Organization/IT and can be used for the following services:
- Time tracking at terminals within the university (staff only)
 - Entry Management for buildings and rooms
 - Login at the university’s copiers and printers
 - Payment method in the Studentenwerk canteens
 
If you lose your transponder, please contact the Department of Organization/IT or the HR Department immediately.
Digital Workflow Portal
The SECANDA digital workflow portal provides staff with access to the following functions:
- Request and approval of absence reasons and time corrections such as:
- Business trips, vacation, compensatory time off, training, etc.
 
 - Personal time-tracking journal
 - Team calendar for absences
 - Duty roster (Internat only)
 - Online time-tracking terminal, e.g., for remote work
 
You can access the workflow portal as follows:
- Open https://zeiterfassung.palucca.eu in your web browser.
 - Enter your Palucca account as the “Username” and your password as the “Password”.
 
Note: Browser access is only possible from within the university network or via VPN.
Alternatively, a smartphone app is available that also allows access outside the university network.
- The activation for the app must be requested from the HR Department.
 - After activation, you will receive a setup email sent to your official university email address.
 - This email contains a QR code (to be scanned with the Intrakey app) or a setup link (if you open the email on your smartphone).
 - After scanning the QR code or clicking the link, the app will be configured automatically.
